Charles Ross & Son Co. has introduced the HSM-703XC, an improved model of its 10HP X-Series ultra-high shear mixer, an inline rotor/stator mixer that generates very fine emulsions with exceptionally narrow particle size distribution.
Applications include was dispersions, polymer suspensions, pigment dispersions, nanocomposites, silicone emulsions, filled polyols, specialty coatings, plastics intermediates and additives.
Featuring a cartridge seal design, the HSM-703 XC is a fully SIP/CIP compatible and easier to maintain, with fewer parts, than earlier X-Series models. You don’t need special tools to replace seals.
Also, the barrier fluid tank can be completely disassembled and cleaned.
